About Lexis

A food writer with French roots and a Twilight Zone obsession, Lexis Parker writes speculative fiction set in France and infused with culinary flavors. Her experience as a criminal attorney and writing prompts are the sources of all her short stories. She lives in Southern California with her family.

Long Bio:

Lexis has been a fan of speculative fiction since she discovered the genre in her middle school’s library and Twilight Zone reruns. 

She has visited 32 states, lived in 4, visited 8 foreign countries, studied abroad, and considers Maryland her home. 

She works in the legal and culinary fields, plays in the kitchen, and writes stories longhand in composition notebooks. She has a fondness for fountain pens, porcelain tea cups, French literature, stormy nights, and French pastries.  

She is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Horror Writers Association (HWA) (under a different name).
